VSU, 3iL Ingenieurs Explore Prospective Academic Partnership

The Visayas State University Faculty of Computing held a partnership and collaboration dialogue with Prof. Philippe Rousille of 3iL Ingénieurs, France, on August 12, 2026, at the DCST IT Building, VSU Main Campus.
The activity provided an opportunity for VSU faculty members and Prof. Rousille to discuss possible areas of collaboration between the two institutions. Among the prospective areas explored were joint research initiatives, student mobility, curriculum alignment, and other forms of academic cooperation that may benefit both faculty members and students.
During the dialogue, both parties also discussed priority areas for collaboration, possible next steps, and the identification of focal persons who may facilitate future engagements. The meeting served as an initial step toward establishing stronger international academic linkages and identifying opportunities that may contribute to the advancement of computing education, research, and internationalization at VSU.
The activity reflects the Faculty of Computing's continuing efforts to expand its academic network and create opportunities for meaningful collaboration with international institutions.
