Niño B. Ele, MIT, serves as the Head of the Department of Information Technology at Visayas State University Isabel, where he provides strategic leadership for the BS Information Technology program. With a teaching career spanning over 12 years, Mr. Ele has established himself as an expert in computer networks and programming, fields he has passionately handled since December 2013.

Mr. Ele’s academic foundation began at the University of Cebu Main, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in 2007. Committed to continuous professional growth, he later completed his Master’s in Information Technology at the Asian Development Foundation College in Tacloban City in 2016.

In his current capacity as Department Head, he oversees curriculum implementation and faculty development, ensuring that VSU Isabel graduates are equipped with industry-standard skills to address modern organizational challenges. Under his guidance, the department remains dedicated to VSU’s mission of producing graduates who possess not only technical proficiency but also a strong commitment to service and innovation in the digital age.
