Biography
Michael Anthony Jay B. Regis serves as an Associate Professor II, specializing in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. He earned his MS in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños, Laguna, and his BS in Computer Engineering from AMA Computer College, Cebu City.
He is a certified PhilNITS Fundamental Information Technology Engineers (FE) Certification Exam Passer and an International Certificate of Digital Literacy Passer.
Professor Regis teaches a range of courses including Fundamentals of Programming, Intermediate Programming, Algorithms and Complexity, Computer Organization and Architecture, Computational Science, and Parallel and Distributed Computing. His research focuses on image processing, machine learning, and embedded systems, reflecting his commitment to advancing both theoretical and practical aspects of computing.
